AR Coatings are widely used to Improve Transmission and Reduce Glare on Flashlight Windows, Binocular and Telescope Lenses, Instrument Panels, Etc.

Vacuum Vapor Deposition allows the application of Single Layer MgF2 anti-reflection (AR) coatings to a variety of substrate materials and shapes. AR coated optical components can significantly reduce optical system energy losses by allowing more transmission while simultaneously reducing glare.
