Thin Film Vacuum Deposition

Vacuum Deposition is a Process Used for the Application of Metallic and/or Dielectric Materials over the Surface of the Reflector Surface

These very thin coatings can be tailored to enhance reflectivity over a broad wavelength band or peaked at a specific wavelength, and may also be used to protect delicate optical surfaces.

Our current capabilities include vacuum deposition of Aluminum, Gold, Silver, Silicon Dioxide, Silicon Monoxide and Magnesium Fluoride.
